Help counteract Lord Lipsey's spin offensive

The Greyhound Star this month announced that David Lipsey, chairman of the BGRB, is on a charm offensive, and is making calculating use of his media contacts to obtain yet more free advertising for greyhound racing. He and Free Range PR are attempting to lure unsuspecting new customers in through the turn stiles. They must be stopped.

Theirs is a cynical attempt to assure the public that greyhound racing has cleaned up its act and it’s safe to go back into the water. We therefore need to react very decisively, bombarding those listed below with the real facts about greyhound racing and pointing out where appropriate that, as this is a very contentious issue, they should strive to ensure that all viewpoints are represented, not just the pro-racing lobby.

It’s important to keep up the momentum and say loudly and clearly at every opportunity that no-one who likes dogs should ever spend a single penny on greyhound racing! They wouldn’t advertise dog fights, why are they providing a platform for these people to promote animal abuse?!!
