FUNDRAISING CO-ORDINATOR URGENTLY NEEDED
Can you do this vital job to help the greyhounds?

Greyhound Action urgently needs a voluntary fundraising co-ordinator to enable us to keep up with
the ever increasing demand for our leaflets, posters etc. and to produce new and even more effective
materials for our greyhound protection campaign.

In recent months the demand for our campaign materials has rocketed, with even more of our
supporters needing leaflets, posters, banners etc. for demonstrations outside greyhound tracks and
city centre information stalls.

We are delighted with this increase in active support, but it has put a massive strain on our
finances, which have become even more limited due to the economic recession and the considerable
additional expense of printing for our soon to be launched Winning Words in the Workplace
initiative.

The very small group of volunteers who are involved with the administration of Greyhound Action are
already inundated with work in the day to day running of our campaign, so we urgently need someone
else to come forward who can concentrate on the job of fundraising.

We need a dedicated person with a reasonable level of computer skills who can liaise with our
supporters, local authorities etc. throughout the country to help organise street collections and
other fundraising activities. They would also need to have the confidence to get on with the job
without constantly referring back to us, once we have explained the basics of what is needed.
Previous fundraising experience would be helpful, but is not essential.
