CAMPAIGN LAUNCHED TO CLOSE NEWCASTLE DOG TRACK
If you live in the North-East, please try to help

Local animal protection campaigners in Newcastle-upon-Tyne have launched a campaign to close the
city's greyhound stadium and hope to start holding regular demonstrations and leafletting sessions
soon.

There have been occasional demos outside the William Hill owned stadium in the past (see
http://tinyurl.com/NewcastleStadiumDemo), but Newcastle Animal Rights (NAR) want to hold these on a
regular basis in order to reduce attendances at the track and drive it towards eventual closure.

The existence of Newcastle dog track is responsible for the slaughter of about 500 greyhounds every
year, so please do your best to support this important campaign, especially if you live in or near
the Tyneside area.

If you are able to help, by attending demos etc., even if only occasionally,

please contact NAR at

newcastleAR@hushmail.com or on 07767 683826.
