Coventry Against Greyhound Exploitation
launch a range of library resources with a display at Coventry central library

Could you organise one in your area?

The display at Coventry library

As our campaign has progressed it has become obvious that our strongest weapon is information. Once people are shown the hidden facts behind the glossy face of the greyhound racing industry ... most people agree with us that it can't be allowed to continue. In many cases visits to the "dogs" have been cancelled once the organisers became aware of the sordid truth. Other people have been inspired to adopt abandoned greyhounds or even become heavily involved in our campaign.

With this in mind Coventry Against Greyhound Exploitation (CAGE) have produced an excellent range of posters covering all aspects of the greyhound industry, greyhounds as companions and the history of greyhounds. The posters are clear, well designed and cover all the main facts in detail and with passion. They have primarily been designed for use in library displays ... but you could use them on stalls, put them up at work or anything else you can think of ... be creative :-)

CAGE launched the posters with a successful display in the central library at Coventry ... maybe you could do the same in your local area? Most libraries are quite happy to put on temporary displays like this.

Contact CAGE on 0777 1953465 or soledad_john@hotmail.com if you would like help or advice on setting up a library display.
